Registration Opens for 2025 ZAA Annual Conference in San Antonio
The Zoological Association of America (ZAA) has officially opened registration for its 2025 Annual Conference, set to take place October 1- 4 in San Antonio. Hosted by the San Antonio Zoo, this year’s event will bring together professionals from across the zoological field for four days of education, networking, and industry engagement.
The conference will feature over 35 expert-led sessions, a robust exhibit hall, and multiple networking events, including the popular Vendor Blendor & Silent Auction, Zoo Day at the San Antonio Zoo, and a Welcome Fiesta. Attendees can also register for optional pre-conference experiences, including a historic sites tour and private river cruise, or an exclusive off-site adventure to Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo and Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch.
Keynote speakers include:
Dr. Mark Flint, Founder, Flint Welfcare – A recognized leader in animal welfare and wildlife science, Dr. Flint brings decades of experience in advancing welfare practices across diverse species and institutions.
Michelle C. Pardo, Partner, Duane Morris LLP – One of the foremost legal voices in the zoological community, Michelle Pardo offers critical insight into the legal challenges and regulatory landscape facing modern zoos and aquariums.
